This Alginate Casting Kit is great for creating your own molds and sculptures. Pack includes 450g of alginate and 1kg of plaster powder as well as bucket to create in.

Mix the 450g of alginate with 1800ml of cold water. Put the object you’d like a mold of into the mixed alginate being sure not to touch the bottom. Keep still till the alginate sets to a rubbery texture (2-3 minutes). Gently remove object.

Mix 300ml of water with the 1kg of plaster powder, slowly pour mixture into the mold. Let plaster set for 60mins. Once dry, turn bucket over to remove mold. Gently remove the alginate from sculpture. Once sculpture is fully dry you can leave as is or paint it a colour of your choice. See detailed instructions with pack.
